A pop under banner ad is a variation of the pop up banner ad that leaves the banner underneath the current browser window. The pop under is not seen until the user closes his browser window, revealing the ad that has been left behind. Variations to the pop up JavaScript are readily available on the Internet. While pop under banner ads are effective, they are considered deceptive and should be used in a limited fashion.
