Using a nonstandard banner ad size within a standard banner

All standard banner ad sizes are either square or rectangular. What if you want your ad to not have perpendicular edges? Create an odd-shaped ad within the confines of the ad size you are using to advertise and set the background color of the ad to match that of the page it will go on. This will give the appearance of an odd shaped ad.
